Addressing the Indian community residing in Russia’s capital, PM Narendra Modi stated that India is changing at the fastest rate in its history, and the global society is looking at India.
Addressing the gathering on an occasion organized by the Indian community, Modi was seen to be completely bullish on the Indian growth story, which, he reiterated, is being powered by over 140 crore Indians.
Speaking about the recent developments, he deliberated on India, asserting, ‘India is full of confidence and is making things happen, including the recent G20 Summit successfully hosted in the country, the new age space missions launched by ISRO, not to mention the new infrastructure projects that are gradually being embarked upon.
The Prime Minister said this on the backdrop of India’s successful chase in the Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup in the recent past, where he congratulated the team by stating that this is the new India which ‘does not accept defeat till the last ball and the last moment.
Reciprocating the compliment, Modi said that for Russia, it is a different kind of gratitude to being India’s ‘reliable friend’ and ‘eternal ally’; it is due to the diaspora strengthening the best India-Russia bilateral relation.
As he entered his third term, the Prime Minister said he would prepare to work ‘three times as much and three times as fast’ to face the challenges ahead, but he has judgemental certainty about India’s capability to take those challenges and hurdles and emerge stronger.
