IndiGo flights from Mumbai to West Asia receive bomb threats

According to the news agency ANI, on October 14, two bomb threats were reportedly received on IndiGo’s flights from Mumbai to West Asia. The affected flights were bound for Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and Muscat in Oman.

The bomb threat was received for flight 6E 56, bound for Jeddah,” an IndiGo spokesperson said. “As per the protocol, the aircraft has been moved to a secluded bay, and security checks as required are being carried out duly.”

Similarly, a bomb threat was perceived for flight 6E 1275, bound for Muscat. Following prescribed procedures, the spokesperson said the aircraft was taken to an isolated bay for thorough security checks.

Meanwhile, authorities are working to calm the situation and ensure the safety of all passengers and crew members on board.
