Iran fires ballistic missiles at Israel; Khamenei blames U.S. & Europe

Iran-Israel tensions escalate as Khamenei, Bennett trade barbs after missile attacks.

Iran fired over 200 missiles at Israeli bases after lamenting the demise of Lebanon’s Hezbollah chief, says Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.

He asserted Middle East conflicts will end if the US and Europe stop meddling, holding them responsible for the situation.

The attacks came in response to the recent killings of Hamas chief and IRGC commander by Israel according to the Iranian army chief.

Most missiles were intercepted causing evacuations and panic but deaths were avoided, say Israel, the US, and Jordan.

However, ex-Israeli PM Naftali Bennett sees it as an opportunity to destroy Iran’s nuclear sites and cripple the regime. In a social media post, he advocated urgent strikes on energy facilities to decapitate the “terror octopus”.

Iran launched its largest attack yet leaving a trail of destruction, with both nations trading barbs and signaling an escalation.

As tensions flare in the region with no signs of de-escalation, global powers watch the situation with concern.
