Israel-Gaza conflict escalates: airstrikes and death toll rise

Israel intensified air bombardments, and a ground offensive started on Gaza, causing a rising death toll and ruin everywhere. The fighting reached the Threat Point, upon which the intensity of the battle went on around the main Al Shifa hospital in Gaza City, which ended up being the battleground. The news agencies and the Israeli army all confirmed the aggressive air strikes.

According to the health authority in Palestine, 2 Israeli attacks targeted the Al Shejaia suburb in eastern Gaza City and left 17 victims. The Israeli airstrike that hit a house in the Al-Maghazi camp in the central part of Gaza also left eight people dead.

Moreover, the Gaza-based Hamas administration media office stated that the Al-Shejaia bloodbath claimed no fewer than ten state policemen who were on duty and ensuring that their colleagues – dispossessed individuals in the north of Gaza – received the aid deliveries.

In the match the response, the Israeli Military Service said it was conducting operations in and around Gaza City’s area of Al Shifa. Practicing the approaches to minimize the risks of civilian collateral causalities, patients and health workers, as well as the military equipment, the military confirmed that several rebels were wiped out and military installations seized in the operation.

The military wing of the wings of Hamas stated that they were firing shells at the soldiers who were positioned near Nasser in the Khan Younis region, which is one of the hospitals where the soldiers were stationed.

Israeli caliber attack air strikes widely strangulated Gaza’s southern part, especially Rafah. After all, Rafah was the last shelter for more than half of Gaza’s population; the Rahafiti airstrike, which led to the deaths of 12 Palestinians, forced their families from their homes.

The number of casualties resulting from the isolated magnitude of Israel’s offensive on the Gaza Strip between October 7 and November 1 has crossed the threshold level of 32,000. Today, the tolls for the last 24 hours have ascended to 71 casualties from this region. The destruction is all around evident, as thousands are feared to be buried under the rubble, while over 80% of Gazans are displaced. Therefore, many people are likely to be on the critical famine level.

The World Court issued a unanimous order that Israel had to take the required measures intended to supply the large population’s food with no need for immediate starvation. The UNRWA mirrored the urgency of the situation, assessing the ability of Israel to ensure daily food and nutrition convoys to northern Gaza, not limiting the number of land crossings.

With the war going on, the international community is following how the humanitarian situation is worsening, and demand for an immediate cessation of hostilities is made to guarantee that there is no more loss of lives and that the plights of the people of Gaza are being addressed.
