Israeli Airstrikes Kill 53 Across Gaza Amid Ongoing Conflict

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is telling the French people that “our victory is your victory.”.

He stated in an interview on the French television channel TF1 that a victory in the war that has claimed more than 36,000 Palestinian lives so far would be a triumph for “anticipation of anti-Semitism.”

It is the triumph of Judeo-Christian civilization over terrorism. It is the triumph of France.

According to a survey conducted by the Pew Research Center, the majority of Israelis are satisfied with the current situation and with the actions of Israel in the war against Gaza.

The poll was made during the period of March and early April, before the Israeli military operations in Rafah town in the south and the renewed military operations in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

According to the poll, around 64% of the Israeli public felt at the time that the country would either probably (27%) or definitely (40%) fulfill its objectives in the conflict with Hamas.

However, the majority of Israeli adults were worried about some aspects of the conflict: Of the respondents, 61 percent believed that fighting would continue to spread in the region, and 68 percent said that they were’ very or extremely concerned’ that the war would continue for a long time.

Four zero percent of Israeli respondents indicated that Israel should rule the Gaza Strip, while 12 percent stated that the Palestinian Authority should. Fourteen felt that the people of Gaza should decide so.

In the same year, a survey revealed that 26% of Israelis believe that Israel and a Palestinian state can co-exist as neighbors. This is a decrease from the 35 percent that was reported the previous year before the war.

Axioms News also revealed that the White House is planning to convene a meeting between US, Egyptian, and Israeli envoys in Cairo next week to assess the repercussions of the Israeli military forces’ incursion into the Philadelphia Corridor in the Gaza Strip’s south.

Rumors have it that officials will be receiving ideas on how to further come up with strategies that may lead to the reopening of Rafah Crossing while at the same time attending to other issues.
