Israeli troops shelled an UNRWA-managed Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz School in southern Khan Younis, killing at least 20 people, of whom many were children. This incident came a day after another attack on a school killed 43 in northern Beit Hanoon, followed by the assault on the Civil Defence Post where the Al Jazeera cameraman was killed with five rescue personnel.
