Israeli forces have intensified their assault on Gaza, killing at least 10 people in Gaza City and causing power generators at Kamal Adwan Hospital to fail. WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus described the conditions at the besieged hospital as “appalling,” calling for an end to the ongoing violence.

Since the start of hostilities on October 7, 2023, the war has resulted in at least 45,028 Palestinians losing their lives and leaving another 106,962 seriously injured.
