Israeli forces strap wounded Palestinian to military vehicle

In a shocking incident, another brutal Israeli aggression has been reported during Operation Shocked and Arrested in the West Bank city of Jenin, the Israeli military has found illustrating its forces strapped a wounded Palestinian man to the front of their vehicle.

The alleged criminal act was witnessed and recorded by a video that has since been uploaded on the social media platform and recruited international condemnation during a counter-terrorism operation conducted by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) with the specific aim of arresting wanted suspects in the Wadi Burqin area. The IDF said that the man was shot after he opened fire, alongside the two other suspects, at the Israeli forces.

However, according to the family of the injured man, the army agreed when they demanded an ambulance, but instead of providing them, the man was taken, his hands tied behind his back, and he was tied on the hood of a jeep before it took off. The individual was, therefore, taken to the Red Crescent for treatment as mentioned and recommended by the medical practitioners.

The IDF has stated the incident is being investigated with the forces’ conduct stating that it is not tolerated by the IDF. Eyewitnesses have been able to identify the deceased as a local man identified as Mujahed Azmi.

Escalation of violence in the West Bank after the start of the conflict in the Gaza Strip further strained the situation, and more than 480 Palestinians were killed in the conflict, according to the UN. That is why this latest act has caused outrage and condemnation for the action and has dealt yet another blow to Israel’s image in international relations.
