Israeli strikes in Gaza kill 61 amid ongoing military conflict

At least 61 Palestinians died, and the number is expected to increase as Palestinian health officials reported the increasing number of people killed in the Gaza Strip by Israeli airstrikes. One of the latest incidents was an attack on a hospital in the largest city of the Gaza Strip, worsening the suffering of the people.

Currently, in Jenin, Israeli forces have embarked on a very intensive military operation for the last several days, and many residents are stranded with no access to food supplies, water, electricity, or even the Internet. This operation was one of the fiercest night raids in the areas occupied by Palestinians in several decades.

In a related development, Gaza officials started giving some children in the central region polio vaccinations, while the UN polio campaign is scheduled to start tomorrow.

The United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees reported that 20 Palestinians have died in the occupied West Bank since the Isarel’s operation began on Wednesday, including several people with disability as well as children.

In the duration of the attack, at least 4547 people have been killed, and 3165 others have been injured in the conflict between the Israeli military and the Hamas. It was triggered following the escalation of the violence by Hamas in the early hours of October 7, which caused about 1,139 deaths within the Israeli boundaries.
