India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah in a one-day visit to Kuwait to boost the relations between the two nations.
When Jaishankar arrived in Kuwait, Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya received him. On X, in a message left on, Jaishankar thanked the hosts for the warm welcome and stressed on his willingness to meet with the Kuwaiti leadership for most of the day.
The discussions are expected to cover political relations, trade and investment, energy cooperation, security issues, cultural exchanges, consular matters, and other relevant areas. As decided by the Ministry of External Affairs before Jaishankar’s visit, both sides will also consult and coordinate on regional and international matters of mutual concern.
