Kamala Harris emerges as democratic frontrunner after Biden’s exit

On a Political Realignment, Vice President Kamala Harris now has the support of the Majority of Democratic Delegates. He is officially ready to be the party’s nominee for the 2024 presidential election.

The AP survey on Monday further showed that Harris is enjoying the support of more than the required 1,976 delegates in the first round of voting. This development came after the decision of the current president of the United States, Joe Biden, to pull out of the race, accusing immense pressure from senior Democrats after a bad debate against the then-incumbent Republican president, Donald Trump.

In an interview with her campaign team, Harris posed more like a combative California prosecutor who was unafraid of going head-to-head with Trump.

Mitt Romney’s type, she said, which positioned her as the rightful heir of the American dream in the face of Trump’s devilish menacing that will destroy America’s potential. Harris expressed great confidence in Biden, saying her time working for him as his deputy was “one of the greatest honors of my life.”

According to the AP survey, support for Harris has boosted after Biden and her campaign received millions of donations and endorsements from the Democratic party ahead of her. The party is now ready to formally nominate Harris at the Democratic National Convention next month to possibly contend with Trump and his Vice President, Senator JD Vance.
