Years after stepping down as working royals and maintaining no contact.
Meghan Markle is reportedly “ready to sit down with the Royal Family” for talks. This development follows Meghan and Prince Harry’s departure from royal duties in 2020.
Royal Biographer Angela Levin shared with GB News that Meghan remains deeply affected by her treatment by the Royal Family and seeks to resolve these issues. Levin emphasized, “She’s still genuinely hurt by how she was treated by the Royal Family – this is four years on. She wants to now sit down and talk through things.”
According to Levin, Meghan also expects apologies from the Royal Family for the circumstances that led to the rift. “She wants the Royal Family, King Charles, and everyone else to make an apology,” Levin noted. “However, they believe the person who should apologize is her, which they do not expect.”
Levin mentioned that reconciling with the monarchy might serve another purpose for Meghan – promoting her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
She is reportedly trying to enlist Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie to help sell her jams, hoping even King Charles might take an interest.
GB News host Nana Akua expressed a desire for reconciliation, stating, “I think we need to bridge some upset, and I’d like to see them all reunited and being nice to each other.”
However, Levin suggested another perspective, attributing the outreach to declining popularity. “They need the royals to boost them up because people aren’t interested in them anymore. That’s the difficulty there.
