Mike Tyson says God urged him to fight Jake Paul after toad venom

Boxing legend Iron Mike will fight YouTube sensation Paul, 27, in a fight slated for Friday. The event will be streamed from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

American boxing legend Mike Tyson has opened up on the reasons behind making another comeback to the ring post-retirement against famous YouTuber Jake Paul and claimed that “God told him” to do so after he smoked an illegal poison.

The former undisputed world heavyweight champion revealed the substance he smoked was venom from a toad from the Sonoran Desert, which is categorized as a form of poison and is illegal in the country.

The 58-year-old former boxer who earned the nickname ‘the worst man on the planet’ during the prime years of his illustrious boxing career, 27-year-old Paul, is about to be held at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Friday, streamed globally on Netflix.

Tyson added that the idea of the “greatest fighter since the beginning of life” meeting a YouTuber with 70 million fans was his, which he claimed would lead to an “explosion of excitement.”

“This fight will not change my life or my finances or anything. You have a YouTuber that has 70 million fans. And I’m the greatest fighter since the beginning of life, so what does that make? That makes an explosion of excitement,” said Tyson, who slapped Paul during their weigh-on on Thursday on the eve of the highly-anticipated about.
