Emergency responders transported many victims to local hospitals, while others were sent to University Medical Center in El Paso for treatment. However, the exact number of injured individuals remains undisclosed.
Witnesses indicated that the shooting occurred during a monthly event where enthusiasts showcase their modified sports cars, attracting around 200 attendees to a festive atmosphere. Eyewitness accounts described a sudden altercation that escalated into gunfire, prompting chaos as people fled for safety. At least one individual was observed carrying what appeared to be an assault-style weapon.
