Tesla CEO Elon Musk agreed with biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, who suggested “the only way” to save the United States.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk agreed with a biotech entrepreneur who had suggested “the only way” the United States would be saved following the huge presidential election win by Donald Trump.
Taking to X on Monday, the top Indian-American advisor to President-elect Trump argued that “a band of small-government revolutionaries” can “save our nation.”
Responding to Ramaswamy’s remarks, Musk wondered if Trump would recommend candidates for specific roles within his incoming administration. Absolutely! It would be interesting to hear recommendations for roles in the new administration for consideration by the president,” Musk wrote.
Further, Musk also reposted another post by Ramaswamy, wherein the latter described the Republicans’ overwhelming win in US elections as a “once in a century” chance to “radically downsize the size, scope, and mission of the federal government.”
Meanwhile, Ramaswamy said the country’s legal immigration system is “broken” and backed the plan to deport illegal immigrants en masse.
He indicated that anyone who had broken the law upon entry into the country did not deserve to be in the US and needed to leave the nation.
Do we have a broken legal immigration system? Yes, we do. But I think the first step is going to be to restore the rule of law, to do it in a very pragmatic way, the entrepreneur turned-politician told ABC News in an interview.
