On Tuesday, terrorists targeted a tourist group in Pahalgam and killed one while injuring twenty people. Officials informed CNN-News18 that at least two of the injured are critical.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday on a two-day visit to the Arab country at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He will meet senior officials and co-chair the second meeting of the Strategic Partnership Council.

American Vice-President JD Vance on Tuesday stated that the Indian and American governments are actively working on a trade agreement. He stated he and Prime Minister Narendra Modi “made very good progress,” and this is the “road map to a final deal.”
