Outrage erupts After 45 Civilians killed in Israeli strike on Rafah

Rafah Assault: A day after the United Nations’ international court demanded that Israel cease its raid on the border city, which the local government had expected to be the last line of defense, the forces intensified their attacks.

A strike by Israelis at a refugee camp in Rafah, Gaza, claimed the lives of at least 45 individuals, including children. The reports, which arrived shortly after the International Court of Justice had asked Israel to stop its operation in Rafah, provoked outrage across the world and contributed to the worsening of the international stance of Israel in connection with the war in Gaza.

Israel began the attack on Rafah late on Sunday as a response to the rocket launch of Hamas in the Tel Aviv area, most of which were downed by the interceptor system.

It continued to attack the border town, formerly considered the last safe point of the territory, even after the August 14 order from the UN International Court of Justice to cease operation there.

This saying, All eyes on Rafah, seems to imply that everyone is focusing on the genocide that is currently going on in this Gazan city. It has become a popular saying as countries around the world have offered their support and solidarity to the Palestinians living under the current attacks from the Israelis.

We can also note several celebrities with greetings in support of their online hashtag #AllEyesOnRafah. It was emphasized as a rallying cry for acknowledging the fact that the war is still raging.

Before the recent escalation of the military operation on the Gaza side of the border earlier this month and the subsequent capture of the crossing point by Israel, Rafah was a crucial gateway for HAID.

Heavy battles in Rafah have led to over one million Palestinians being uprooted, with many of them having left homes during the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

This means Palestinians will always be targeted by the Israel defense forces anytime, anywhere, and in the last few months, people have been moving up and down the Gaza Strip.
