Outrage over ‘bloody Massacre’ in Israeli attack on Gaza school

Hamas condemned an Israeli strike on a school that has been used as a shelter in Gaza City as a ‘dangerous escalation.

A school, they said, was targeted by Israelis in Gaza City, and over 100 individuals, including women and children, were killed, the Palestinian officials said, adding that the number of people killed can still rise.

The Israeli army on Saturday said its air forces hit a “command and control center,” which “provided the Hamas terrorist organization and commanders with cover at the al-Tabin school. It did not present proofs and stated that measures were being taken to minimize the chances of hurting civilians and termed the death figures released by the Palestinian authorities as exaggerated.

The atrocity that happened at al-Tabin school in the Daraj neighborhood of central Gaza City is a war crime that signified a dangerous escalation, said the movement that controls the Gaza strip.

Izzat al-Rishq, a political bureau member of the Palestinian group, denied that there were armed people in the school.

Hamas called the accusations of the school as being a command and control center of the group as blatant attempts of Israel to target innocent civilians, schools, hospitals, and even refugee tents, which according to the group are mere false pretenses and mere fabrications in order to justify the inhuman acts committed by Israel.

“Here we appeal to the League of Arab states, the Organization of Islamic Conference, and the international community to assume your responsibilities and to act to put an end to these massacres and to check Zionist aggression against the Palestinian nation and defenseless citizens.” The features of the statement.

Ismail al-Thawabta, the director-general of the Gaza government media office, urged the international community and the United Nations Security Council to ‘pressure Israel to stop this continuous massacre among our affected people, the women, and children’.
