Hilal-e-Imtiaz is the second largest civil award presented to the people by the Government of Pakistan, and Nadeem will receive this award due to his excellent performance in the final of the competition level.
The current javelin throw gold medalist in the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024, Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem, is going to be given the Hilal-e-Imtiaz by their government. Presumably, Nadeem will get this award of Hilal-e-Imtiaz, the second-highest civilian award given by the Government of Pakistan, after his excellent performance in the final of this competition.
Pakistan’s athlete won gold by throwing this 92.97 . meters; this was a new Olympic record when again Greece’s Alexandros Papadimitriou could only throw 84/92 meters and Sweden’s Patrik Söderlund threw 93 meters, while Denmark’s Andreas Thorkildsen’s mark from Beijing 2008 was the previous record. Anderson Peters of Grenada clinched a bronze final with a throw of 88.54 meters.
In athletics, Indian star Neeraj Chopra could not defend his gold, having a best throw of 89.45 meters. His second attempt is also notably good, but he again fails in four consequent foul throws that surely kept him from the gold.
Thus Chopra accomplished great deeds by becoming the second male athlete from India post-independence to get two Olympic medals in one individual event.
After Neeraj failed to stand his ground for the gold medal defense, it was seen and heard how the last two to three years had not been good in regard to his fitness levels.
New songs are streaming out now, only on JioSaavn.com.
Speaking at the event about politics as reported by Olympics.com, Neeraj said, “It was a good throw, but I am not that satisfied with my performance today because my technique and runway were not that good. I got only one throw; the rest I went foul.”
