Palace debunks death rumors: King Charles III alive and carrying out duties

During this viral era of social media, which was all about the extreme importance of the royal announcement, conspiracy theorists have shifted their focus from Kate Middleton to King Charles III. On the other hand, on Monday, Buckingham Palace disregarded the reports about the Queen’s death but swiftly dismissed them, saying they were false.

As per the media, the BBC News production team is being told to remain vigilant and watch out for any potential big announcements by the royal family concerning current health matters. This blow ignited a flurry on social media, and there were insinuations that the Palace could cover vital information, as some reports suggested that both Kate and King Charles had recently undergone surgery.

The false news of the death of King Charles appeared on Monday first in some Russian media outlets, such as Sputnik and others. During that episode, deceitful outlets spread the fake information that the 75-year-old lady had died because of cancer surgery complications as early as March 18.

The errors were disseminated with blazing speed among Social Media platforms, which left many people confused and panicked before their dishonesty was proven.

The first story was accompanied by a fake order suitably signed by Buckingham Palace announcing the unexpected death of King Charles. Nevertheless, the “British Embassy” in this situation was speedy in releasing a statement refuting false news and Elizabeth II’s death.

One of the situations forced Buckingham Palace to communicate clearly that the reports on King Charles III’s death were rumors. However, retorting to a rumor emanating from the monarch’s official London residence asserting that the king died from an unexpected health problem, the palace invited the Russian state-run news agency TASS to set the record straight. The Palace explained,

“We are proud to say that the King remains involved in the official and private business.”

Despite the information circulating about the health condition of King Charles and some other members of the royal family, the monarch has vowed to be the head of his people. Recently, he was diagnosed with cancer, and his health advisor recommended that he hide from the public almost completely during the treatment. Some reports say he would be one of the participants in the Trooping of the Colour, a notable event scheduled for his birthday on 15 June.

During the recent virtual address, the King declared that nothing can come as an obstacle to his continuous dedication to serving the Commonwealth, even if he is facing health problems.
