In a bizarre incident that has raised eyebrows, a New Jersey-based paranormal investigator has reported a strange encounter with an unidentified flying object near a restricted military facility.
Michael B., the host of the YouTube channel “Terror Talk Productions,” was attempting to examine a suspicious airborne object when his drone suddenly malfunctioned and lost power midway through the flight.
According to an interview with Fox News, Michael B. was operating his drone near the restricted airspace of the Picatinny Arsenal, a military facility in New Jersey, when he noticed a mysterious device hovering nearby.
Shortly after, a warning flashed on his screen, and his drone began a rapid descent due to a depleted battery. However, the unknown object he was investigating remained airborne, sparking even more questions about its provenance.
The incident has added to the growing concerns over the increasing number of reported drone sightings near the Picatinny Arsenal. Authorities have confirmed that a temporary flight restriction has been imposed over the military facility until December 26, following a surge in drone activity in the area.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is now actively investigating these incidents and has introduced additional flight restrictions around the region, including over the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
New Jersey State Senator Joe Pennacchio has called for a federal investigation into the matter, even going so far as to send a letter to President-elect Donald Trump, urging him to address the lack of answers regarding the mysterious drones.
While the White House national security communications adviser, John Kirby, has suggested that many of the reported sightings may be of manned aircraft operating legally, former CIA operations officer Laura Ballman has speculated that the unidentified drones could be part of a secretive technology test aimed at avoiding detection.
