Priyanka Gandhi Vadra denounces Israel’s “Genocidal Actions” in Gaza

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has sternly criticized the Israeli government for its aggression, culminating in military operations in the Gaza Strip for ten months now, with over 40,000 people killed.

Speaking to the global community, Vadra urged them to ‘come out in the open to denounce the Israeli government justified barbarism and compel it to stop the horrible genocide that is raving in the Palestinian territory’. She said the situation was one that every welfare-minded person should come out and fight against.

“It is no longer enough to speak up for the civilians, mothers, fathers, doctors, nurses, aid workers, journalists, teachers, writers, poets, senior citizens, and the thousands of innocent children who are being wiped out day after day,”

Vadra said on X.

Her bitter tone is in response to the speech made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Congress, which was given a standing ovation for his support of the operations.

Vadra fiercely dismissed Netanyahu’s representation of the conflict as a conflict between savagery and civilization and said,” That is precisely true, and he and his government are the savages. ”

The Congress leader also unleashed criticism on the support that Israel’s “barbarism” enjoys from “most of the Western world,” which he said is embarrassing to watch.

On the same day Netanyahu met with US Vice President Kamala Harris, the latter suggested a new direction in the American approach to global conflicts when she said, “we cannot look away in the face of these tragedies” and promised not to stay mum.

Gaza conflict continues today and has been met with an international outcry; the Indian government supports a peaceful solution with the two-state solution. But the humanitarian catastrophe still remains; millions of people are still refugees, and hundreds of hostages are still kept in captivity by Hamas and other militant organizations.
