Putin identifies India, China, and Brazil as potential mediators

On September 5, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that New Delhi, Beijing, and Brasilia may mediate further negotiations with Kyiv. This statement comes as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has now rolled out over 2. 5 years.

At the Plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Putin said that the additional agreement reached by Moscow and Kyiv during the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war in Istanbul could be considered the starting point of future negotiations. But, he brought swift realization to the fact that this agreement had never seen the light of the implementation.

Putin thought that friendly nations would be useful in solving the continuing conflict, with countries like India, China, and Brazil genuinely wanting to help solve the conflict.

As for us, we respect our friends and partners who are genuinely concerned about the desire to solve all the matters connected with this conflict, he said. He brought out the ongoing contact with leaders in these countries, implying that there is trust that can facilitate the negotiation of this matter.
