Russia dismisses US claims of Indian involvement in murder plot, accuses meddling

Russia questioned the authenticity of a U.S. claim that Indian conspirators were perpetrators of a plot to assassinate an American – based Khalistani terrorist. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Maria Zakharova, claimed that Washington did not have enough confirming evidence and that Washington is even applied this to India’s internal affairs, including the Lok Sabha elections.

Thus, Zakharova paddles in stride with the ‘Wash.Post’ and prompts everyone to have substantiated and credible proof, as unfounded speculation is impossible to embrace. She accentuated that the US is deprived of knowledge of the Indian way of thought and history on most matters, particularly India`s stand on religious principles.

Zakharova criticized the US accusations as an article reminiscent of an imperialist mindset and also alleged that it is Washington that is trying to interfere in India’s internal policies and create problems for the forthcoming parliamentary elections. The Indian Government has fervently countered these allegations and reiterated the various investigations conducted by the High-level Committee constituted by the US Government to address their security concerns.

The Indian Ministerial Department of Foreign Affairs rejected the publication’s unwarranted and unfounded insinuations and abstained from making any premature comments. It once again highlights the strained relations between the US and Russia, with these two powerful nations acting as players in the game of geopolitical tensions and India left to navigate these complex geopolitical dynamics.
