Russian missile attack claims six lives in Dnipro and Kyiv

The strikes came less than 48 hours after Russia finished hosting a three-day summit of the BRICS group of emerging economies in the city of Kazan.

At the summit, President Vladimir Putin faced calls from world leaders to end the conflict.

Russian missile attacks in the city of Dnipro killed four people, including a child. In contrast, an attack on Kyiv and its surroundings killed a teenager and another person, officials said on Saturday.

The strikes came less than 48 hours after Russia concluded a three-day summit of the BRICS group of emerging economies in Kazan, during which President Vladimir Putin received appeals from world leaders to end the conflict.
