Ever wonder what you can do when stranded in the desert of Dubai with no ride?
Two women who got stuck in a desert in Dubai booked a ride on Uber by camel to be rescued. Their video has gone viral now.
The woman’s vehicle broke down and got stuck in the arid desert.
However, when one of them opened her Uber app, she saw the strange option for a bizarre camel ride, and before they could understand how real it was, a man came with a camel and introduced himself as an “Uber Camel driver.”
When one of the women asked the man about himself, the latter said, “I drive Uber Camel. I help people who get lost.” The video was purportedly made at Al Badayer on Dubai-Hatta Road.
Here’s how netizens reacted to the video. The video soon went viral on social media, leaving some users stunned. Others claimed that it was “fake” and “staged.”
“Only in Dubai can you order a camel like it’s no big deal,” commented a user.
It does not look like you’re in the middle of the desert! We can see the road right behind you only. And you’re in Sharjah, as there are no red dunes in Dubai, commented another user.
“This has to be staged, right? It’s too good to be true!” reacted another user.
There is a road behind you, and you say you are in the middle of the desert and lost,” wrote one of the five users.
