Tensions soar as Israel threatens “All-Out War” against Hezbollah

The Israeli forces have, therefore, responded by warning Hezbollah of an all-out war, while the IDF has endorsed strategies regarding a ground attack on Hezbollah in Lebanon. The allegations emerged after Hezbollah unleashed drone footage shots of strategic positions in the Israeli port city of Haifa, thus raising the stakes for a full-scale war.

Foreign Minister Israel Katz threatened that bragging about Nasrallah over filming the ports may cause the intended attack. In his article titled, Warren began by declaring: “Hezbollah will be annihilated, and Lebanon will suffer devastating losses in an all-out war.”

The Israeli military also added there are established ‘tactical procedures’ for the attack in Lebanon from the ‘situation evaluation’ across the border with Hezbollah.

The tensions oppose current US diplomatic attempts to prevent the conflict from spiraling out. Former US mediator Amos Hochstein, who recently visited Lebanon, reiterated that Biden is desirous of not having another escalation to a bigger war.

The verbal exchanges come after a spate of border skirmishes between Israel and Hezbollah since the Gaza conflict began in October. Each party has accused the other of conducting many military incursions; the war has led to several hundred confirmed and likely deaths on each side.

The relations between Lebanon and Israel remain tense, and Nasrallah is planned to speak on Wednesday to escalate the situation further. More air strikes were conducted by Israel on Lebanon, and on the other hand, Hezbollah declared that it had conducted more than 2100 operations against the Israelis.

When leaders’ rhetoric grows more belligerent, the region prepares for a more extensive conflict, even when the US pleads for peace.
