Tensions soar in Gaza as tanks advance, fears of wider conflict grow

The fighting between Israel and Palestinian militants also escalated since tanks advanced further in the two main southern cities of Gaza, stated reportage. The violence has escalated in the past week, and a warning has been issued advising people to leave the central parts of the city as the emergency shelters are too full.

The cabinet of the Prime Minister of Israel is considering a possible military reaction to the recent deadly attack on the occupied Golan Height, thus intensifying concerns of a large-scale war in the Middle East.

On the other hand, Iran has threatened to warn against any act of the ‘Zionist regime’, saying Israel will be held to account for “the unpredictable outcome of such foolish incidence. ”

The Gazan health ministry has said at least 66 Palestinians have died and 241 have been wounded in the latest attacks by Israel across the Gaza Strip in the past day. These sad numbers augment the number of DEADs, the current conflict death rate.

Media sources reveal that at least 39,324 people have died while 90,830 survivors have been left injured from the Israel’s attack on Gaza. Also, around 1,139 people in Israel were killed during the Hamas attacks on October 7, and more than 200 persons were kidnapped.

Ever since the situation on the ground worsened, the world has been watching the events, and the possibility of the conflict expanding into a full-scale regional war seems to be imminent.
