In what may be a rather unexpected move, former President of the United States of America Donald Trump has invoked a formal duel with the present incumbent President Joe Biden to an 18-hole golf match at his golf course in Doral, Florida. Trump says it would be “one of the largest viewed sporting events in history” and more popular than the Ryder Cup or Masters.
Trump took it even further and offered Biden a pretty large handicap, admitting that he would let Biden have 10 a side or, in other words, give him 20 shots above parity. But the best of the spoofs is Trump’s promise to contribute $1 million to a charity of Biden’s choice if the President triumphed.
“And I’ll be damn sure that he doesn’t take that offer,” Trump said in cautious resentment during the rally.
However, the Biden administration was quick to dismiss it, beginning with Biden’s spokesperson, James Singer, stating that “Joe Biden does not have time for Donald Trump’s weird stunts. ” Trump was referred to as a liar, convict, and fraud.
This unfortunate golf challenge between the two political opponents has upped the ante in what may already be an intense feud. The stakes in this game are very high indeed, and the ball is now in Biden’s court. Will he take Trump up on it?
