A Sunday entry by the Republican contender on Truth Social featured a photograph of Swift wearing red, white, and blue apparel with the caption, Taylor Swift Wants You To Vote For Donald Trump.

An entry made by the Republican candidate on Truth Social on Sunday dressed Swift in Republican colors of red, white, and blue with the caption “Taylor Swift Wants You To Vote For Donald Trump.
Swift has yet to come out to support her favored candidate in the 2024 race, although she has in the past supported the Democrat party.
The singer supported Joe Biden in 2020 for the presidency and Kamala Harris for the vice presidency. Harris is expected to be officially anointed as the 2024 Democratic candidate at the party’s convention in Chicago this week. In a 2020 documentary, Swift also criticized Trump.
A representative for Swift didn’t provide a reply to the request for an interview.
Trump also shared photos of young women wearing T-shirts, “Swifties for Trump,” and a link to an article with the headline “Swifties turning to Trump after ISIS Wreaks Vengeance on Taylor Swift Concert.” Note, the word “SATIRE” was written in large letters above the headline.
Three of Swift’s concerts in Vienna were cancelled this month after the authorities reported that they had prevented an attack. Local officials arrested a 19-year-old man they claimed was an Islamic State follower.
‘Swifties for Trump’ is a phenomenon that is getting new subscribers every day,” Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said when we sought his comments and questions on the fake Swift picture.
Some of the Swift images shared by Trump were widely described as fakes produced using artificial intelligence by several fans and watchdog groups.
