President-elect Donald Trump is going to make a huge mark on his first day in office by signing about 200 executive orders that aim to reform what he calls the “failed and corrupt political establishment” of the United States. This ambitious initiative, scheduled for January 20, has been detailed by aides in his administration.
Among the actions to be taken, Trump will concentrate on issues such as border security, domestic energy production, and cost-of-living measures for American families. There are also plans to abolish diversity, equity, and inclusion programs within all federal agencies.
Jason Miller, a senior adviser, said that the president will begin signing these orders immediately after his inauguration. Many of the very detailed orders are likely to bring about extreme reforms. A senior administration official said, “The president is issuing a historic series of executive orders that will fundamentally reform the American government.”
Key initiatives include declaring a national border emergency, directing the U.S. military and the Department of Homeland Security to secure the southern border, and dismantling criminal cartels. Task forces will be established with personnel from the FBI and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to combat these organizations, with plans to designate them as foreign terrorist entities.
Trump will order the military to build the border wall and reestablish policies like “Remain in Mexico.” He will begin his deregulation process by getting rid of all the federal actions that increase the living cost of families.
This is a record-breaking wave of executive actions to continue fulfilling campaign promises with numerous more initiatives ready to continue restoring America.
