Trump’s Pennsylvania town hall turns into bizarre musical fest, sparking concerns

Trump’s town hall takes a musical turn, sparking mental fitness debate.

Former US President Donald Trump’s Pennsylvania campaign event took an unusual musical turn after audience members fainted due to heat inside the venue.

What began as a standard question-answer session shifted dramatically as the evening evolved into a nearly 40-minute sequence of Trump swaying to songs played onstage.

With paramedics attending to attendees, Trump directed that music including ‘Ave Maria’ be played and proceeded to dance along in a spectacle lasting over half an hour.

Artists like Rufus Wainwright criticized the usage of their songs without permission. Videos from the bizarre rally went viral on social media.

Present Vice-President Kamala Harris drew attention to the incident, tweeting ‘Hope he’s okay’ in a veiled jibe. At her own events, Harris raised questions over Trump’s ‘unstable’ conduct.

She has consistently made Trump’s fitness a key poll issue given his age of 78 years. While his staff termed it a ‘lovefest’, many were left perplexed by his onstage actions.

With just three weeks to go for the tight presidential race, both candidates are touring swing states rallying support around contrasting visions for America’s future.
