Tucker Carlson’s explosive claim: Biden admin tried to assassinate Putin

Controversial Claim: Tucker Carlson Alleges Biden Administration Tried to Assassinate Putin.

In a shocking revelation, right-wing commentator and conservative pundit Tucker Carlson has accused the Biden administration of attempting to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, Carlson’s claim lacks any concrete evidence, sparking a widespread row.

During an episode of his podcast ‘The Tucker Carlson Show’, the former Fox News broadcaster made the sensational claim that “the Biden administration did, they tried to kill Putin.” When his guest, journalist Matt Taibbi, expressed surprise, Carlson doubled down on his assertion, stating, “Yes, yes, they did, which is insane.”

The Kremlin has taken note of Carlson’s remarks, with spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stating that the Russian special services are “constantly taking all the necessary measures to ensure public safety, and, of course, the safety of those who are under state protection, which concerns first and foremost the head of the state.”

Carlson’s recent comments are not the first time he has faced scrutiny for his remarks. In 2023, he was ousted from Fox News as the network grappled with legal challenges over its broadcast of false claims regarding electoral fraud in the 2020 US presidential election.

Carlson’s repeated criticism of US military aid to Ukraine and his assertion that the country “is not a democracy… in American terms, you would call Ukraine a tyranny” have raised concerns.

His interview with Putin in Moscow and subsequent conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov have also faced widespread criticism.

The Biden administration has not yet responded to Carlson’s allegations, leaving the controversy to simmer. However, the pundit’s sensational claim, without any concrete evidence, has further stoked the ongoing tensions between the United States and Russia.
