Unfortunately, recently, flight SG-006 of Singapore Airlines from London to Singapore was involved in a very bad incident of turbulence in which this poor lady lost her life, and about seventy persons onboard the aircraft sustained injuries.

That fateful day, the passenger flight Boeing 777-300ER had 211 passengers and 18 crew members on board and was flying at the height of 37,000 feet, 9.5 hours into the journey when it encountered extreme turbulence in Myanmar airspace.

These led to some catastrophes, like the formation of pockets of air, which resulted in some passengers and crew members moving up and down while the aircraft shook forcefully.

Singapore Airlines CEO Goh Choon Phong said in a statement that on behalf of the airlines, he urged to convey his sincerest condolences to the family of the dead man, 73 years old British man who is said to have died from a heart attack. Various stakeholders, including the government and the crew members, sympathized with people on board SQ321, stating that they were subjected to a traumatic experience.

Fань?¯ of passengers was not the only concern as an 18-passenger hospitalization followed the incident and 12 more passengers were undergoing treatment. However, a Thai hospital that took pictures of the dead and injured showed that at least 71 passengers were receiving treatment for injuries in a hospital.

Pictures showing inside the plane show severe destruction in the plane’s internal systems, headsets opened, and gas masks hanging from the roofs. Basic operational functionality, such as documented passenger testimonials, includes descriptions of people’s heads banging on the light fittings located above the seats.

The CEO stated that Singapore Airlines is prepared to take necessary action to help all those impacted and to engage with the authorities investigating this incident.
