U.S. House Republicans release report alleging Biden’s misconduct

Spearheaded by the Republican party, the U.S. House of Representatives published a 291-page report on Monday accusing Biden of embarking on impeachable offenses. However, the future of an impeachment vote is still in doubt since the White House has claimed that the hearing is full of political bias.

Biden is accused of fraud based on ‘quid pro quo ’11 arrangements with foreign business transactions, which were said to have started in early 2014 when Biden was vice president. The report says,

“The committees provide this information to the House of Representatives, with the latter examining the given findings and deciding on the subsequent actions. ”

House Speaker Mike Johnson has not given any sign that he will call for the vote before the preordained November 5 election, where former president Donald Trump is against Kamala Harris, the vice president. Although, with the House controlled by Republicans, an impeachment measure could be adopted, a Senate conviction is unlikely, seeing that Democrats control the Senate.

It revolves around the alleged corruption cases involving Biden’s son, Hunter, and has drawn criticism across the demarcation of the political divide for the lack of evidence. Hunter Biden has been convicted previously for forgery in the form of a shotgun purchase and is still under trial for tax fraud and other charges like taking money from foreign sources.

The Democrats have criticized these impeachment pursuits as a form of vengeance against Trump, who was twice impeached and twice cleared by the Senate. The first count included allegations that Trump urged Ukraine President Zelenskyy to investigate Biden for his gain in releasing U. S aid.
