UK PM Rishi Sunak Criticized for Pricey backpack on campaign visit

It is thought that they used the Tumi Arrive Bradley model backpack, which costs 750 pounds and is sold in classy stores like Selfridges.

Rishi Sunak, the UK’s Prime Minister, carried a 750-pound backpack, or approximately ₹ 79,497 pounds, on Wednesday during his campaign trip to one of the country’s most deprived regions, where he was quizzed about ‘leveling up’ funding.

The luxury Tumi bag that Mr. Sunak was captured carrying had ‘RS’ imprinted on the side of it, and he was seen with it when he boarded a train to Cornwall. This he did by traveling in the sleeper service to Penance as a part of the campaign for the conservatives in the south-west of the UK, as The Manchester Evening News informed.

It is thought the backpack is a Tumi Arrive Bradley model, which can cost up to 750 British pounds and is found in upscale stores like Selfridges.

However, this is not the first time that Mr. Sumac wears an expensive piece. The latter, sensing the unnecessary attention that people are placing on expensive and luxury items, saw it fit to wear on a visit to a building site Prada suede shoes that weigh a record 490 pounds.

The recent Sunday Times Rich List has it that Rishi Sunak, the prime minister of the UK, and his spouse Akshat Murti were worth more than King Charles.

According to this index, it rose dramatically during the last year, and the couple has obtained over 120 million pounds of property. Their fortune surpassed that of the UK monarch, King Charles Young, in 11 years, from last year’s 529 million pounds to 651 million pounds by 2024.

But the report further said that it is rather difficult to come up with the actual amount of riches in dilapidated monarchs’ treasuries. It should be noted, however, that the total worth of the overall monarchy, which consists of other wealth such as different estates and palaces, is said to be in the billions of pounds.
