Ukrainian Prime Minister warns of dire consequences in conflict with Russia

Ukraine’s Prime Minister, Denys Shmyhal, issued a solemn message about the probable consequences if Ukraine fails to win its war against Russia. The interview found Shmyhal generous enough to believe that the US Congress would finally pass a much more ambitious aid bill, which includes $61 billion being earmarked for Kyiv.

The $38 Billion program package that is due for a critical vote in the US House of Representatives this Saturday targets, among others, India and Israel in the Indo-Pacific. Shimyhal appealed that were pertinent for AT security assistance, particularly towards timing.

The Prime Minister reiterated that this was about saving

the whole of Ukraine and protecting all of Europe from war and maybe the third world war. This is not the first time Ukraine has played this tune; before, it was President Vorodymyr Zelynskyy who warned against the Russian victory and other aggression towards Eastern Europe.

Nevertheless, Russian officials are upbeat about these insinuations regarding Western anxiety, rejecting them as mere CIA activity. Russia claims that they have never targeted the NATO countries around Poland. Harmful, prolonged disagreements in Congress about further help for Ukraine have already had serious implications on the field, where Ukraine is lacking ammunition and thus causing heroes’ morale to wane.

Shmyhal is also clear about how fake news and propaganda work, noting not only their impacts on Ukrainians but also on people of the United States and the European Union. The worst testimonies come from the radical Republicans who block any possible funds to Ukraine that are used as a substitute for border guards.
