Woman charged for posing as 14-Year-Old, exploiting teenage boys

A 23-year-old woman in the United States has been hit with additional charges after pretending to be a 14-year-old girl and engaging in inappropriate activities with teenage boys. Alyssa Ann Zinger was arrested once again by the Tampa Police Department following the emergence of four more victims. The incident first came to light in November of last year when Zinger was apprehended for allegedly participating in numerous sexual acts with a student and sharing explicit videos with others.

The Tampa Police Department expressed its concern over the situation, stating, “It is disturbing and unsettling to see an adult take advantage of a child and prey on them. Anyone who may have been a victim of Zinger’s, we encourage you to come forward. The Tampa Police Department will support you and ensure a predator like Zinger doesn’t cause you or others additional harm.” Chief Lee Bercaw emphasized the need for victims to speak out.

Since the initial arrest, four more underage victims have bravely stepped forward. Zinger allegedly posed as a 14-year-old homeschooled girl to target middle schoolers and engage in sexual acts with younger boys. Authorities discovered that Zinger had engaged in multiple instances of sexual intercourse with the first victim and had sent explicit videos to several children via Snapchat.

According to the Tampa Police Department, the incident did not originate from a local school, as Zinger had impersonated a homeschooled student to communicate with her victims online. The first victim, a middle school boy between the ages of 12 and 15, was identified by the police.

Zinger now faces a total of 11 felony charges, including lewd and lascivious molestation, lewd and lascivious battery, sexual cyber harassment, and possession of child pornography. During her initial court appearance, Zinger pleaded not guilty to the charges and waived her right to an arraignment. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for Monday. The case highlights the gravity of adult exploitation of minors and the importance of swift legal action to protect vulnerable individuals.
