The second example of self-organization was reported by the WWE legend, sixteen-time WWE champion John Cena, who decided to quit wrestling in 2025. During the Money in the Bank event, Cena, 47, revealed the same in Toronto, United States, and interacted with the fans.
Cena has been a WWE since 2002. Of course, he went through the entertainment wing of wrestling and has turned out to be one of the best wrestlers ever.
When he stepped out for the third time, he came into the ring with a towel around his neck, and before his name ‘John Cena’ was inscribed on his chest, his t-shirt had ‘Farewell Tour’ written on the back as well as his new catchphrase ‘The Last Time is Now ‘ instead of ‘My Time is Now.’
When Cena tried to talk, boy, the reaction from the Toronto crowd mimicked the no more señitas no, no, no sentiment they used to give Eddie and Chavo. However, Cena did not give the WWE wizards any chance to guesswork as he was definitive by stating, “Tonight, I officially announce my retirement from WWE.”
Cena then went on to say that his retirement was not going to be today. Instead, he would buy the 17th spot in the Royal Rumble 2025, then win the Elimination Chamber 2025, and then have a regular wrestling match at the WrestleMania 41 experience in Las Vegas, Nevada. To the WWE Universe, Cena said thank you for enabling him to perform in the house that fans established.
