Zelensky warns of potential Russian onslaught in Ukraine’s northeast

Continuing the war in Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, the president Ukrainian, issued a grim warning, saying that after the gains on the frontline close to Kharkiv city, Russia could be getting ready for greater attacks in the east region.

Zelensky conceded the difficulties faced by his army, admitting issues with staffing and morale. He partially blamed many known combat formations for the insufficient number of soldiers.

“Ukraine has today around 25% of aircraft that we need to defend ourselves against the Russian aggression,”

Zelenskyy disclosed this in an exclusive AFP interview, stressing that Ukraine had to rely on the air defense capabilities and fighter planes supplied by allies.

The USA Approved the 61 billion Dollar ( £48 billion ) Budget for Ukraine, which included military support. On the other hand, while Zelensky’s warnings are showing some progress, the situation in the northeast can be described as precarious, as the Russian army is still thriving there.

The governor of the Joobiv area immanently informed us that about 10k citizens have been left homeless only for the last week, which is the result of the Russian attacks. At the same time, Poland heard that it will spend more than €2. The military seeks 3 billion pounds (£1. 9 billion) to fortify its eastern border against potential opponents.

With the battle certain that the war is reaching a crucial juncture, Ukraine’s warnings to reinforce its defences and the allies’ warnings to defeat the danger of an armed offensive against the Russian military power are emphasized.
